Meet Location:
The 2026 edition of the International Youth Track Championships (IYC 2026) will be held at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex, located in the Washington D.C. suburb of Landover, Maryland. The athletic facility includes a lighting fast eight lane 400m track, four jumping pits, dedicated throwing areas, and external warm-up areas. The 5300 seat stadium, with additional space for tents on the perimeter, is located adjacent to FedEx Field, home of the NFL Washington Commanders football team.
Parking:
The Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex offers virtually unlimited free parking to all attendees at the International Youth Track Championships at designated lots.
Hotel Information:
Meet management strongly encourages participating teams and supporters to make their reservations as soon as possible to secure the best rates, because summer is the high season in the Washington D.C./Landover area. Facility Rules:
The health and safety of our athletes, their supporters, coaches, officials, volunteers is our number one priority. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a peaceful and respectful manner at all times while on the facility property. The use of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises. Security will be provided by the Maryland State Highway Patrol.
Packet Pick-up:
Coaches and parents of unattached athletes may retrieve their packets, which includes bibs, wristbands for athletes and passes for coaches, at the building located at the entrance to the track stadium. NOT AT THE PRESS BOX. Proper ID must be presented to confirm authorization to pick up the packet.
Thursday Practice Session:
The track facility will be open on Thursday, July 10, 2026 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 p.m. ALL ATHLETES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON FACILITY PROPERTY.
General Admission:
$10.00 per day. Athletes and coaches with wristbands, officials, volunteers, Olympians, and children under 6 years of age are admitted free.
Awards:
Awards will be presented 30 minutes after the finals in each event to the top 8 finishers.
Concessions:
Food trucks offering a variety of cuisines will be open adjacent to the track during all three days of the competition. Concession sales are not related to the competition and are not under the meet’s control or supervision.

The International Youth Track Championships is sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the national governing body for track, race walking and long distance running in the United States. No AAU or USATF membership is needed to enter the meet.
